Our vineyards in Maremma
At the beginning of the 2000s, fascinated by that marvelous strip of land rich in history, culture and traditions known as Maremma, Barone Pizzini bought a small property looking to the sea, with Monte Amiata behind. New vineyards were immediately planted which allowed to obtain the Bio certification for the entire production.
Wine with a great impact, fruity and toasted, rich in balsamic, reminiscent of anise, licorice, black cherries and black currant liqueur. In the mouth it is very enveloping, powerful, with well present but refined tannins, a very long memory of spices and toasting. Wine with an excellent impact, with very ripe and partly processed fruit, sweet spices such as vanilla and hints of Mediterranean scrub. On the palate it is saline, structured, with a long persistence with toasted memories. It goes well with first courses with savory sauces and on roasts or grilled meats.Read more
Sangiovese that expresses the freshness of the grape, with flowers, juicy fruit and black pepper. On the palate the juiciness is very pleasant, the sweet fruit returns giving the wine balance and drinkability. Ideal with appetizers and dry first courses or in broth from traditional cuisine.Read more
