Morellino di Scansano DOCG Vintage 2017

Basic Information

The Grand Duke of Tuscany named “Morellino” his vine that gave birth to a black grape. The name comes from the dark cloak, “morello”, the breed of Maremma horses that were used to pull carriages. The grapes of Sangiovese, that in Scansano is called just “Morellino”, are the soul of a wine that makes international reputation in this area.
